Terms of Use

Effective date: May 1, 2026

Welcome to DoubleSpeak. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Ramzi Eid ("we", "our", "us"), the developer of DoubleSpeak. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

2.1 Auto-Renewing Subscriptions

DoubleSpeak offers auto-renewing subscription plans (monthly, annual) and a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and upon each renewal. Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency before purchase.

2.2 Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You will not be charged during the free trial period.

2.3 Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store subscription settings:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
  3. Select DoubleSpeak and choose Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until that date.

2.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

2.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. Apple will notify you of any price increase before your next renewal, and your subscription will not renew at the new price without your consent.

3. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the app.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the app at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, harmful, or unlawful conduct. Upon termination, your licence to use the app ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ramzi Eid and any affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the app.

11. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof. Notwithstanding the above, Ramzi Eid — not Apple — is solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notification or by updating the effective date above.
